Retreat and Adventure Team
Kira Seiffert
I came to yoga through curiosity and a deep love of movement—drawn to the same embodied freedom I feel while running, skiing, backpacking, and wandering in the wild. Nature has always been my greatest teacher, and yoga became a way to deepen that connection while reshaping how I experience my body, my life, and the world.
I’ve been a healer for over 20 years, practicing bodywork and energy work and listening deeply—to clients, students, myself, and the natural world. Trained in Baptiste Power Vinyasa at Shakti Vinyasa Yoga and shaped by teachers throughout the PNW and beyond, I’m also a mom to two young adult boys— my constant compass, always pointing me back to true north and reminding me not to take myself too seriously. My work is about creating space for healing and freedom, trusting the wisdom we already carry, and inviting curiosity, laughter, and a little playful magic into the journey.

Jamie Monte
Yoga has influenced Jamie’s life for over two decades and she has been teaching since 2010. Her classes are filled with lighthearted energy and creative sequences, coupled with breath awareness. Jamie encourages curiosity and playfulness to discover and nurture connections within the physical and energetic bodies. She weaves Ayurvedic principles, pranayama, mantra, mudra, and Vedic stories through the movement practice to create a rich experience.
The intention of her yin yoga classes is to explore mindfulness and support the nervous system in quiet, passive poses. When you practice yin yoga, you create more harmony within your physical and energetic bodies increasing your overall well-being. Her’s is a practice of devotion and you also will be challenged to practice with intention and devotion to your heart, your body, and your energy.

Hannah Dutton
Hi, I'm Hannah. I'm a mom, adventurer, and a chef. I like to think of myself as an adventure chef. I moved this past year from Hawai'i with my family where I spent nearly ten years exploring the islands, kite surfing, teaching yoga, and of course, cooking. In 2016, I started a farm to table meal delivery and event catering business on Oahu. While my business is changing and I am finding a new name, the heart of why I started is the same. I am a nurturer, and I come by it honestly after generations of women in my family. I want food to be an experience. I choose nourishing, flavorful ingredients that comfort and make you feel like you are home. I always strive to inspire others to eat sustainably, creatively, to know any ingredient can be delicious and sustain you on any adventure. Food can hold so much love, which is one reason I find it so very special.

Joe Lavin
As a touch-based health care provider, Joe believes holistic healing matters. He devotes much of his time, energy, and resources to continually learn new ways to help individuals effect change in themselves and others.
While you receive a perfectly blended, custom experience, it’s his intuitive nature that sets this massage apart, allowing him to connect with where you’re at, in that moment, as a complete person. Joe’s passionate about the power of human touch. He provides a massage to heal, recover, challenge, calm, connect, and communicate.
Joe first discovered the benefits of bodywork as a professional MMA fighter. He combined the best techniques to form his own style, which he refers to as Deep Lomi. Rooted in the Hawaiian Lomi style, Joe’s blend of bodywork modalities and relaxation practices reflect his creativity, while providing a therapeutic and unbelievably serene massage.
You can expect extremely long and luxurious strokes that integrate the entire body, with his work being very slow, deliberate, and calming. Each session is completely unique, profoundly relaxing, and highly effective. With Joe, you’ll get an experience from a massage artist.

Chef Wes Erikson is a fourth‑generation commercial fisherman and an active member of the Canadian Culinary Federation (CCFCC) and the North Vancouver Island Chefs Association (NVICA). Having fished nearly every species along the entire British Columbia coastline using all major gear types, he brings a lifetime of firsthand experience with the ocean and its resources.
Growing up on his father’s fishing boat — often finding himself in the galley — Erikson developed an early passion for preparing fresh seafood.
Traveling to South Africa in the fishing offseason, Wes trained for 3 years at the Islander Restaurant, one of the top restaurants in the country at the time. In 1993, he opened Yamato Restaurant in Courtenay, BC alongside Japanese master chef Saturo “Sam” Ogawa. He later launched Sushi‑Mon Bar and Grill in Qualicum Beach in 2005, operating it until 2012, when he relocated to the Seattle area to focus on raising his son.
Erikson has remained active in the culinary community through catering, festival work, and leadership roles. He has served as Vice President of the annual BC Seafood Festival, collaborating with world‑class chefs and industry leaders.
As both chef and fisherman, Erikson continues to bridge the gap between harvesters, chefs, and consumers. He is committed to promoting sustainable seafood practices and responsible stewardship of the oceans.
