Massage
I offer several different massage treatments, depending on what your needs are. You can read descriptions of each below. While I will gladly provide a 1-hour massage, I highly recommend 90 minute or 2-hour sessions so that I can become more familiar with your body and your needs, and better focus on areas that could use more attention.

Massages take place at the waterfront Healing House in West Seattle on Mondays, downtown Bellevue at Shakti Vinyasa Yoga on Tuesdays & Thursdays, and at the Bodyworks Studio in North Bend on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Therapeutic Massage
This type of massage is designed around individual client needs and desires. Every massage will be different, unique to the individual, and the techniques used will vary based on what the tissue calls for. The intent is to relieve pain, encourage healthy alignment, increase range of motion, and create an experience of deep relaxation and well-being.
Thai Yoga Massage
Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is a holistic, meditative, and interactive style of bodywork. Thai Yoga Massage incorporates elements of yoga, stretching, breathing, acupressure and rhythmic compression along energy lines. It is deeply relaxing and grounding, yet also energizing and balancing. This massage is done on the floor, on a Thai futon mat. Because of the generous amount of movement and stretching, clients are asked to wear comfortable, loose clothing during the massage.
Prenatal Massage
Prenatal massage is therapeutic bodywork that focuses on the special needs of the mother-to-be as her body goes through the dramatic changes of pregnancy. Bolsters and pillows are used to create supported side-lying and semi-reclined positions to allow for a safe and comprehensive massage. This gentle and holistic approach encourages healthy function of muscles and joints, improves circulation and general body tone, and relieves mental and physical fatigue. Prenatal massage eases the discomfort associated with pregnancy, helps the mother-to-be prepare for labor and gives her nurturing emotional support.
